Partendo sopra il paese di Varignano una salita ripida su asfalto porta alla ridente conca di Padaro, dove un breve piano precede una nuova pendenza minore, ma costante ; l’attraversamento successivo è a località Mandrea e più avanti il panorama spazia a destra sulla valle dei laghi a nord. Dopo le prime case rustiche di San Giovanni si oltrepassa una graziosa chiesetta e subito dopo si vede il rifugio-ristoro della località. Sempre salendo con direzione Prati da Gom - Gorghi la strada diventa sterrata e in località Marcarie gira a sinistra passando alle pendici del monte Biaina con un vasto bosco da un lato e dall’0altro una conca verdeggiante. Dalla località Gorghi a destra si scende per un fiotto bosco e poi a sinistra per una strada forestale che si immette in strada pavimentata sino a località Bondiga. Continuare verso San Pietro -Tenno passando per Treni e tenendo la sinistra risalendo nuovamente per poi giungere tra prati e rustici alla discesa asfaltata che sempre a sinistra porta verso i borghi di Calvola e Canale. Più sotto si interseca la statale n° 421 nuovamente a sinistra e si va su asfalto verso Tenno. Al tornante della Volta di Nò si prende il sentiero che scende tra gli ulivi a Varignano.

Going up out of the village of Varignano a steep asphalt road climbs to the lovely valley of Padaro, where a short level section precedes another steady, but less difficult, rise. The next leg is to Mandrea and further on the view to the right takes in the Valle dei Laghi to the north. After the first rustic houses of San Giovanni you pass a graceful little church and just below you can see the little bar-restaurant of the locality .Still climbing towards Prati da Gom -Gorghi the road becomes unsurfaced. At Marcarie road turn to the left past the slopes of Mount Biaina with an enormous wood on one side and a green valley on the other. From Gorghi you descend to the right through a thick wood and then to the left along a forest road which becomes metalled as far as Bondiga. Continue towards San Pietro and Tenno passing through Treni and, keeping to the left, climb again to an area of meadows and rustic houses where the asphalted descends, still to the left, takes you down to the hamlets of Calvola and Canale. Further down you meet the main road (No.421), and it’s left again along the asphalt road towards Tenno. At the Volta di Nò hairpin, take the path that goes down among the olive groves to Varignano.

Oberhalb des Ortes Varignano liegt der Ausgangspunkt für einen steilen
Anstieg auf Asphalt, der zum Becken von Padaro führt und nach einem ebenen Stück geht es wieder etwas weniger steil aber konstant aufwärts. Man durchquert Mandrea und etwas weiter hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Valle dei Laghi nach Norden hin. Nach den ersten Bauernhäusern in San Giovanni kommt man an einer hübschen Kirche vorbei und sieht unterhalb sofort ein Gasthaus, Man fährt Richtung Prati da Gom - Gorghi einen Hang hinauf. Die Strasse wird zu einem Schotterweg und in Marcarie geht es nach links, wo man an den Hängen des Monte Biaina entlang fährt, auf der einen Seite mit Wald und auf der anderen mit Blick auf ein grünes Becken. Von Gorghi aus geht es rechts durch einen dichten Wald abwärts und dann über einen Waldweg, der bei Bondiga in Asphaltstrasse übergeht. Weiter Richtung San Pietro- Tenno, durch Treni und wenn man sich links hält, steigt
der Weg wieder an und stößt auf eine asphaltierte Abfahrt, die immer links nach Calvola und Canale führt. Weiter unten kreuzt man die Staatsstraße N° 421 und links geht es auf Asphalt nach Tenno. An der Kehre der Volta di Nò nimmt man den Weg, der durch Olivenhaine nach Varignano absteigt.
