Il piacevole itinerario parte da Riva e raggiunge la cascata del Varone dopo aver imboccato via Pernone e girato in fondo a sinistra sulla statale per Tenno. 50m dopo la spettacolare forra ,una strada scende a destra verso il paese di Varone, piega a sinistra per Ceole e al santuario della Madonna delle Grazie sino all’omonima provinciale. Direzione Varignano e al primo bivio a sinistra con capitello si sale verso la parte superiore del borgo dove una stradina sterrata porta a sinistra su verso l’olivaia e a zig zag raggiunge una curva della statale 421 alla volta di Nò girando poi a destra sempre in salita verso le sorgenti del Novino. Qui la strada piega verso Tenno e raggiunge il paese davanti al bel castello, entra per un breve tratto sulla statale e al centro del primo tornante parte un sentiero acciottolato (a destra dopo l’imbocco) e sale sino alla chiesa di Ville del Monte riportando sulla statale che verso sinistra porta agevolmente verso la zona del lago. Un vasto parcheggio sulla destra precede la breve scalinata che (scendendo a piedi) porta sulle rive di quello che è giustamente considerato uno tra i più bei laghi alpini con acque pulitissime di color turchese cangiante al verde. Tornati al parcheggio, si prende la stradina che aggira sulla destra il dosso denominato "Mattoni" ;alla croce tenere la sinistra e poi scendere leggermente sul sentiero che in fondo a destra porta nel borgo medievale di Canale. Si scende alla strada sotto il paese che va a ricongiungersi con la statale da riprendere per il ritorno. Stupenda discesa panoramica fino a Riva del Garda.

This pleasant route stars from Riva and reaches the Varone waterfall after taking via Pernone and going around the bottom of the main road to Tenno to the left. 50m after the spectacular gorge a road goes down to the right towards the village of Varone, then bends to the left for Ceole and at the Madonna delle Grazie Sanctuary as far as the road of the same name . Head for Varignano and at the first junction to the left with a stone column you climb up towards the upper part of the village where an unsurfaced little road bears off to the left up into the olive groves zigzagging up to a bend in the main road (421) to Volta di Nò. Turn right here and go on upwards to the springs at Norvino. Here the road curves towards Tenno and arrives at the village before the fine castle where it briefly joins the main road. On the apex of the first hairpin there is the start of a cobbled path (right after the access) which goes all the way to the Ville del Monte church. Here it meets the main road once again and turning left you can easily continue towards the lake area. A large car park on the right is situated just before the start of the steps that lead down (on foot) to the shore of what is rightly considered one of the most beautiful alpine lakes, with the cleanest water and a variable turquoise-green colour. Coming back to the car park, turn on to the path which skirts to the right of the rock known as "Mattoni" ; at the cross keep left and then follow the path gently downhill to the bottom where, to the right, the path leads to the medieval village of Canale. Go down the road beneath the village which rejoins the main road for the return journey. Fabulous panoramic descent as far as Riva del Garda.

Dieser schöne Weg beginnt in Riva del Garda und erreicht den Wasserfall von Varone, nachdem man die Via Pernone genommen hat und am Ende links auf die Staatsstraße nach Tenno abbiegt. 50 m hinter der spektakulären Schlucht, führt eine Strasse nach rechts zu dem Ort Varone, biegt links nach Ceole ab und zur Wallfahrtskirche Madonna delle Grazie, bis zur gleichnamigen Provinzialstraße. Richtung Varignano und an der ersten Gabelung links fährt man in den oberen Teil des Ortes, von wo ein Weg nach links zu einem Olivenhain führt und in Zick-Zack-Kurven auf eine Kurve der Staatsstraße 421 der Volta di Nò stößt, nach rechts führt eine Steigung zu den Quellen von Novino. Hier biegt die Strasse nach Tenno ab und man erreicht den Ort vor dem schönen Schloß. Nach einem kurzen Stück auf der Staatsstraße biegt in der Mitte der ersten Kurve ein mit Kopfstein gepflasterter Weg ab (rechts nach der Einmündung), steigt bis zur Kirche Ville del Monte an und erreicht wiederum die Staatsstraße, die nach links bequem zum See führt. Ein großer Parkplatz rechts liegt vor einer Treppe, die (zu Fuß) zum Ufer des Sees führt, der zu Recht wegen seines sauberen Wassers und seiner türkisgrünen Farbe für einen der schönsten im Alpenraum gehalten wird. Ist man zum Parkplatz zuruckgekehrt, so nimmt man ein Sträßchen, das rechts um den sogenannten Dosso Mattoni führt; an dem Kreuz hält man sich links und fährt dann auf einem Weg weiter, der am Ende rechts in den mittelalterlichen Ort Canale führt. Unterhalb von Canale geht es weiter bis zur Staatsstraße, die man für den Rückweg nimmt. Schöne Abfahrt mit tollem Panorama.
