Dall’ abitato di Caneve, di là del ponte del Sarca di Arco, inizia agevolmente il tragitto che, per San Martino, Massone, Moletta, Maso Giare, percorre una buona parte di pianura tra prati e frutteti, prima di immettersi, nei pressi di Dro, sulla provinciale che conduce allo splendido castello di drena dopo una serie di tornanti panoramici. Superato il maniero(la visita è d’obbligo) si scende a destra dell’abitato e si procede al di là del rio Sallagoni verso maso Michelotti risalendo per circa 400m. Da qui, dopo un tratto di falsopiano, la pendenza si accentua nuovamente e dopo circa 10km in zona boscosa, verdi pascoli precedono l’alpeggio di malga Campo. Dopo questa, un breve tratto piano con panorama di monte Brento e Casale e dolomiti di Brenta. Un’ultima difficile asperità prima di discendere proseguendo dritti dopo il primo tornante. Un bel tratto di piano tra distese prative, poi a destra sul primo incrocio discesa verso Carobbi. Qui, a un bivio fra due case si gira a sinistra per una ripida discesa sterrata giungendo all’incrocio su asfalto che a sinistra porta al borgo antico di Braila, si prosegue sul sentiero scendendo poi a Pianura attorniata da faggi e castagni secolari e poi più in basso, prima di San Martino, Massone e Caneve, la valletta si stringe ,a fianco della parete scuola per free climbing.

From the centre of Caneve, on the other side of the Sarca bridge at Arco, the route begins easily via San Martino, Massone, Moletta and Maso Giare running a good distance Through level fields and fruit orchards .Just outside Dro you join the road which leads up to the stunning castle of Drena after a series of panoramic hairpin bends. After the massive castle (the view is a must) you drop down to the right of the village and carry on up the other side of Rio Sallagoni towards Maso Michelotti rising about 400m. From here, after a levelish section, the route begins to rise again and after around 10km in the woods you reach the green summer pastures of Malga Campo. Then there is a short level section with views of Mount Brento, Casale, and the Brenta Dolomites. One last hard part before descending, straight on after the first hairpin. A lovely section through broad meadows ,then to the right at the first cross-roads ad down towards Carobbi. Here, at a cross-roads between two houses, turn left for a steep, unsurfaced descend reaching the asphalt cross-roads which, to the left, brings you to the ancient hamlet of Braila. Continue on the path, down through Pianura surrounded by centenarian beech and chestnut trees and further down, before reaching San Martino, Massone and Caneve, the valley narrows by the rock face used for free climbing practice.

Von dem Ort Caneve aus, jenseits der Sarca-Brücke in Arco, führt eine leichte
Strecke durch San Martino, Massone, Moletta, Maso Giare, durch einen großen Teil der Ebene an Wiesen
und Obstplantagen vorbei, bevor man in der Nähe von Dro auf die Provinzial-Strasse einbiegt, die, nach einer Reihe von Kurven mit Panorama-Blick, zu der schönen Burg von Drena führt. Nach der Burganlage (ein Besuch ist Pflicht) fährt man rechts der Häuser hinunter und es geht jenseits des Baches Sallagoni weiter Richtung Maso Micheloni, mit einem Anstieg von 400 Metern. Von hier aus, nach einem Teil auf leicht welliger Ebene, steigt die Strecke stärker an und nach 10 km Wald und grünen Wiesen kommt man zur Malga Campo. Anschließend ein kurzes ebenes Stück mit Panorama-Blick auf Monte Brento, Casale und die Brenta-Gruppe. Nochmals ein letzter steiler Anstieg, bevor es nach einer Kurve geradeaus weiter talwärts geht. Ein schönes ebenes Stück an Wiesen vorbei und dann an der ersten Kreuzung rechts Abfahrt nach Carobbi. Hier, an einer Gabelung zwischen zwei Häusern, biegt man nach links ab, wo es steil hinunter geht und man an der Kreuzung wieder auf Asphalt kommt und man links zu dem alten Ort Braila kommt. Weiter führt der Weg nach Pianaura durch uralte Buchen und Kastanien-Wälder und weiter unten verengt sich das Tal vor San Martino, Massone und Caneve, unterhalb der Übungswand für Free-Climber.
