Partendo da Riva del Garda in via Pernone, si procede
fino alla cascata di Varone per iniziare un facile percorso che attraversando gli antichi
paesi di Varignano e Vigne, sale leggermente e poi, su piano, tra le splendide olivaie che
ornano la conca di Arco ,si congiunge all’impegnativa salitella che conduce alla
chiesetta di Maria di Laghel. Da qui, a sinistra, si procede in un passaggio movimentato
da boschetti e massi erratici sino alla discesa su sentiero a tratti molto sconnesso che
sbuca vicino al ponte romano di Ceniga. Dopo l’attraversamento, si incrocia la strada
statale tornando verso Arco fra impianti di susino e attraversando i rustici borghi di San
Martino e Massone per terminare un tragitto.
Starting from Riva del Garda ,via Pernone, continue till
the Varone Waterfall where the is the start of an easy route which takes you
through the old villages of Varignano and Vigne. The path rises slightly and then, on
level ground again, among the wonderful olive groves which surround the valley of Arco, it
joins the difficult uphill route which takes you up to the little church of Santa Maria di
Laghel. From here, to the left, you proceed through a landscape full of thickets and
randomly strewn boulders till you get to the downhill path, in places very rough, which
comes out near the Roman bridge at Ceniga. After going through the village, you come to
the main road which goes back to Arco through the plum orchards and the rustic villages of
San Martino and Massone to complete a route which is one of the smoothest and most
relaxing.

in Riva del Garda, Via Pernone. Fahrt bis zur Wasserfall Varone, wo eine leichte Strecke
beginnt, auf der die alten Orte Varignano und Vigne durchfahren werden, dann leichter
Anstieg und eben weiter durch die schönen Olivenhaine um Arco. Man kommt zu einem
anstrengenderen Anstieg, der zu der kleinen Kirche Santa Maria di Laghel führt. Von hier
aus nach links, wo es inmitten einer durch kleine Wälder und Felsen belebten Landschaft
weitergeht bis zur Abfahrt auf einem teils ungebahnten Weg, der
nahe der römischen Brücke von Ceniga einmündet. Nach deren Überquerung kreuzt die
Staatsstraße, die durch Susinen-Plantagen und die Orte San Martino und Massone nach Arco
zurückführt, wo dieser equeme und entspannende Weg endet.
