Da piazza Italia a Caneve si procede dritti per il paese di Bolognano attraverso la campagna sino ad intersecare, girando a sinistra, la strada che dopo 50 m entra nell’antico abitato. Si sbuca poi sulla provinciale del "Monte Velo" che si percorre in salita per circa 50 mt. E in un’ampia curva si imbocca una ripida strada a destra che sale asfaltata per un corto tratto passando alle pendici d dosso Saiano. Si prosegue su sterrato a mezza costa e poco sempre più su il fondo sconnesso rende ancor più impegnativo il percorso verso il monte Brugnolo che lascia un po’ di respiro a quota 870 quando ,girando a sinistra, dopo circa 150 mt. Il tratto diventa quasi pianeggiante. Fra baite e abetaie si incrocia di nuovo la provinciale e ci dirige a destra verso Ronzo-Chienis sino al monumento ai caduti della 2° guerra mondiale, poi, seguendo i segnavia col n° 2 (agli incroci) percorrere il sentiero "Caproni" su un breve e ripido tratto che passa alla quota più alta tra le rocce.La panoramica da questo punto spazia su tutto l’Alto Garda e val bene una sosta ; si prosegue verso Carobbi a sinistra in discesa con quasi 1000 m d dislivello su buon fondo e giunti a quella località procedere verso Troiana, deliziosa conca attorniata da faggete, castagneti e conifere. Ancora discesa poi verso Pianura e prima di Massone un’occhiata alla palestra di roccia sotto le antiche cave di oolite (pietra calcarea usata in antico per fregi ornamentali e nelle costruzioni).

From Piazza Italia in Caneve go straight towards the village of Bolognano across country until you turn left onto the road which after 50m brings you into the old village centre. Come out on the road for "Monte Velo" which you follow for 50m and then, from a wide bend ,you take a steep road to the right which rises for a short asphalt section passing the sides of Saiano Rock. Halfway up the slope is unsurfaced and as you continue upwards the rockiness makes the route towards Mount Brugnolo even more demanding. There is a short breathing space at around 870m up when, after turning left, 150m further on the section becomes almost level. You meet the road again among the mountain farms and fir trees and turn to the right towards Ronzo-Chienis as far as the II World War Memorial. Then, following the signs with No.2 (at cross-roads), you take the "Caproni" path up a short, steep section that passes the highest point among the rocks. The view from this point covers the whole Alto Garda area and is well worth taking in. You go on from here towards Carobbi to the left, dropping almost 1,ooom on good surfaces. When you reach Carobbi, Head for Troiana which is in a lovely valley surrounded by beech, chestnut and coniferous woods. Further descends then towards Pianura and before Massone take a look at the rock gallery under the ancient oolite quarries ( a calcareous rock used in ancient times for frieze decoration and for building).

Von der Piazza Italia in Caneve     fährt man Richtung Bolognano bis man auf eine Kreuzung und nach links auf eine Strasse abbiegt, die nach 50 m in den Ort Bolognano hineinführt. Die Strasse mündet auf die Provinzial-Strasse "Monte Velo", die man in einer Steigung kurz befährt, um in einer weiten Kurve     rechts auf eine steile Strasse einzubiegen, die eine Zeitlang asphaltiert ist und am Hang des Dosso Saiano      entlangführt. Es geht in halber Höhe auf einem Feldweg weiter, der dann immer weiter ansteigt und entsprechend schwieriger wird, bis zum Monte Brugnolo, wo man auf etwa 870 Metern Höhe ein bißchen Luft holen kann. Man biegt nach links ab und gelangt nach etwa 150 m     auf ein beinahe ebenes Stück. Zwischen Almhütten und Tannenwäldern kreuzt man wiederum die Provinzial-      Strasse. Man hält sich rechts nach Ronzo-Chienis, dort bis zum Denkmal für die Gefallenen des 2. Weltkriegs.     Dann folgt man dem Hinweisschild mit der N° 2 (an     den Kreuzungen), um dem "Caproni"-Weg auf einem kurzen aber steilen Stück zu folgen, wo man zwischen Felsen den höchsten Punkt der Strecke erreicht. Das Panorama gewährt einen Blick auf den ganzen Oberen Gardasee und ist eine Pause wert. Es geht weiter nach links, Richtung Carobbi und mit rund 1000 Metern Höhenunterschied auf gutem Untergrund talwärts. Von Carobbi aus nach Troiana, durch ein schönes Becken mit Buchen, Kastanien und Koniferen. Eine weitere     Abfahrt Richtung Pianaura und vor Massone sollte man einen Blick auf die Kletterwand werfen und die Oolith- Gruben (einem in der Antike verwendeter Gestein).
