Percorso lungo, ma non difficile, quello che porta al limite nord della valle del Sarca. Dal ponte di Arco si costeggia a sinistra il fiume partendo sotto l’era rupe del castello. Nel primo tratto asfaltato che passa per Prabi da notare l’antica chiesetta di sant’ Apollinare e successivamente l’eremo di san Paolo. Dopo il ponte romano di Ceniga (che si lascia sulla destra) il percorso si fa più accidentato ma mai impegnativo, sino ad arrivare alla pista di motocross "Ciclamino" di Pietramurata non senza aver notato sopra di voi la liscia parete di roccia del monte Brento, frequentatissima palestra per gli amanti dell’arrampicata libera e non. Dopo aver superato a strada statale, al centro del paese di Pietramurata, inizia il percorso di ritorno che su sterrati che costeggiano il fiume Sarca dall’altro lato, attraversa il biotopo delle Marocche, deserto pietroso di epoca post-glaciale. Tornati per un brevissimo tratto sull’asfalto e lasciando l’ abitato di Dro sempre dall’altro lato del fiume, ci si inoltra tra le fronde dei pruneti verso Maso Giare e la Moletta, attraversando poi i borghi di San Martino e Massone e giungendo infine al punto di partenza.

The route which takes you to the northern limit of the Sarca valley is long but not difficult. From the Arco bridge you cycle along the left bank of the river starting beneath the sheer cliff of the castle. Along the asphalt road which goes through Prabi you can see the little old churh of Sant’Apollinare and soon after that the hemirtage of San Paolo. After the Roman bridge at Ceniga (which pass on your right) the route becomes uneven but never difficult, until you get to the Ciclamino motocross track at Pietramurata. You cannot fail to notice the smooth rock face of Mount Brento above you which is an extremely popular site for climbing, free or otherwise. After crossing the main road in he centre of Pietramurata village the return journey begins running along unsurfaced tracks on the other side of the river Sarca. The route runs through the rocky post-glacial desert landscape known as Marocche. Returning for a short stretch of asphalt and leaving the village of Dro still on the other side of the river you proceed through the leafy plum orchads towards Maso Giare and Moletta, then passing through the hamlets of San Martino and Massone you finally arrive back at your point of departure.

Eine lange aber nicht schwierige Strecke, die bis zum nördlichen Ende des Sarca-Tales führt. Ausgangspunkt ist die Brücke in Arco, auf der linken Seite des Flusses entlang und unterhalb des steilen Burgfelsens. Der zunächst asphaltierte Weg führt durch Prabi, wo die Kirche Sant'Apollinare und die Einsiedelei San Paolo zu beachten sind. Nach der Römer-Brücke in Ceniga (die man rechts liegen läßt) wird der Weg etwas schwerer befahrbar aber nie anstrengend, bis man zur Motocross-Piste,Ciclamino' in Pietramurata gelangt. Zu beachten ist auch die Steilwand des Monte Brento, wo sich Freeclimber und andere Bergsteiger üben. Nach der Überquerung der Stratsstraße im Zentrum von Pietramurata beginnt der Rückweg, der auf der anderen Seite des Flusses Sarca durch das Biotop der Marocche führte, einer Steinwüste aus der nacheiszeitlichen Periode. Nachdem man ein kurzes Stück auf Asphalt zurückgelegt hat, wobei der Ort Dro auf der anderen Seite des Flusses bleibt, geht es unter den Zweigen von Pflaumenbäumen weiter bis Maso Giare und la Moletta, nach Durchquerung der Orte San Martino und Massone kehrt man zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.
